Shipping

We are a small company and try to ship out every package the same day it is ordered. However, it may take up to two or three business days for us to mail out your order.

We currently offer Fedex and USPS shipping in our store. We can accomodate most other shippers if you contact us.

United States Postal Service (USPS) Domestic Options

Most people choose Priority Mail for shipping. This takes 2-3 days to arrive and does not have a tracking number.

International Orders

Our international orders are handled by USPS. There are three options:

First Class International This is cheapest, untracked, slow, and can get caught in customs anywhere from a day to many weeks. However, we have found that a package usually arrives in less than ten business days after being shipped. We have had a situation where the package took more than a month to arrive.

Priority Mail International This is relatively cheap, untracked, and usually takes about a week to arrive.

Express Mail International This is tracked, insured, and goes through customs very quickly. It is also more expensive to ship.

Payment

We currently take payment through Paypal. You do not need a Paypal account. You can use a major credit card, or if you have a Paypal account, you can use money stored in there.

If you are making an order for an educational institution and need to pay through a purchase order, please contact us.

Sales Tax

Sales tax will be automatically applied for Minnesota orders. If you are tax-exempt, please contact us. After we have a tax-exempt form on file, we can process your transaction without sales tax.

Gift Certificates

We offer gift certificates!

You can print or email them immediately. Instructions for redeeming the gift certificate come with it, but it basically gives you a special code you can use during checkout.

Customer Service

Our main customer service options are through the public forum and email. We prefer the public forum, as it builds a public resource so other people can be helped at the same time, but we understand that not everyone wants to post in the forum.

If there's a part missing with your kit, let us know, and we'll get you a replacement kit. We do our best to get every kit right, but sometimes a missing part slips through.

If you're building your kit, and something doesn't seem right, feel free to post in our public forum or send us an email. If you've built your kit, and it doesn't seem to work, take a clear photo of the front and back of your kit, and either post in our public forum or send us an email through the contact form.

Returns

We’re reasonable people, and we hope you are too! If there’s something wrong with your kit, let us know, and we’ll do our best to make it right! We can only accept returns of unopened kits within 30 days of receipt. Return shipment is the responsibility of the customer. All returns are credited as store credit upon receipt. Contact us before returning any package.

We do not give away, share, or sell your information.
